A DJ residency means a DJ regularly performs at the same club or venue.
For example, a DJ may perform every Friday or several times each month.
Resident DJs usually understand the audience and atmosphere of the venue very well.
They may also develop a special musical identity that becomes connected with the club.

In conclusion, a DJ residency can provide valuable experience and create a strong connection between a DJ and a music venue.
